Semia Biriyani

Ingredients:

Savorit Semia 1 Kg.
Onions 10 nos (medium soze)
Ginger 10 Pieces(chopped)
Tomatoes 10 nos.
Small Onions 10 nos.
Garlic 5 nos.
Cardamoms 20 no.
Cashewnuts 100 gms.
Cinnamon 10 pieces
Green Chillies 15 no.
Carrot 100 gms
Beans 300 gms
Peas 100 gms
Ghee//Vanaspati 15 tbsp.
Water 1500 ml
Salt to taste
Sugar 1 tbsp.
Fried Bread 25 pieces
Cloves 20 no.
Cauliflower 200 gms.

Cooking time: 25 min

Method:

  • Cook Savorit Semia in salted boiling water for 3 minutes, drain excess water.

  • Rinse the cooked semia in cold water and set aside.

  • Sauté vegetables, condiments, and spices in small quantity of Ghee.

  • Add required quantity of water and cook vegetables.

  • To the above add cooked semia, salt and pinch of sugar.

  • Mix well and switch off the flame.

  • Add fried bread pieces and mix thoroughly.

  • Squeeze lime and serve the biriyani with onion raitha.
