Ada Theratti Halwa

Ingredients:

Savorit Ada 50 gms
Sugar 50 gms
Milk 500 ml
Ghee 100 gms
Cashewnut few
Cardamom 5 no.
Nutmeg powder 1/4 tsp

Cooking time: 20 min

Method:

  • Fry 50 gms of Savorit Ada in ghee till it turns brown and pour the milk.

  • Cook the ada in milk for 12 minutes.

  • Add sugar, cardamom and nutmeg powder.

  • Keep stirring until thick.

  • Add remaining ghee.

  • Keep stirring until the ghee leaves the sides of the pan.

  • Garnish with cashewnuts and serve hot.
